What is Royal Jelly?
Royal Jelly is a thick, viscous, white secretion of worker bees that is fed to Queen bees. The worker bees produce Royal Jelly in a similar way to the production of honey. Queen bees live only on Royal Jelly, and this is believed to be the reason for a Queen bee's additional stamina, great size and longevity — they can live 50 times longer than worker bees. The main function of Royal Jelly is to support and strengthen the Queen's immune system. Last but not least, Royal Jelly contains an important chemical 10-HDA (10-Hydroxy-2-Decenoic Acid).
